We are happy and deeply grateful to share with all of you a gesture of great generosity and artistic sensitivity: Riccardo Vignati, an artist attentive to the social and inner dynamics of the human being, has donated a significant work of his to ARTandCHARITY O.D.V., thus supporting our charitable mission through the universal language of art.
The donated work, entitled “A star bene a metà” (2016), is an acrylic on wood created with mixed technique, measuring 95 x 49 cm.
Inspired by the beautiful song “Se tu fossi qui starei meglio” by Pino Daniele, the work addresses the theme of absence, of feeling incomplete, but also of the search for balance and authentic presence.

A theme that intertwines perfectly with the values of our association, which has always promoted culture as a tool for rediscovering oneself, opening up to others, and building bridges of solidarity.
The work was one of the highlights of the solo exhibition “Homo Cell”, curated by Manuela Codazzi, which was held from November 23 to 30, 2024 at the Ubik Bookstore in Varese, under the patronage of the Municipality of Varese and the Province of Varese.
The exhibition presented a selection of works that explored the subtle boundary between humans and the "cell phone," highlighting how this device has become an integral part of our daily lives and our identity.
Through powerful and provocative images, Riccardo Vignati invited visitors to reflect on our inner balance and the risk of losing connection with ourselves in an era dominated by digital connection.
Vignati's gesture deeply honors us: “A star bene a metà” thus becomes part of the artistic heritage of ARTandCHARITY O.D.V. and will accompany our events and initiatives, bringing with it a message of beauty, awareness, and openness towards others.
On behalf of the Board and all the volunteers, we express a heartfelt thank you to Riccardo Vignati for choosing to share with us not only one of his works, but a part of his human and artistic journey.
Every gesture like this encourages us to continue enthusiastically on our path, where art truly becomes a tool for help, dialogue, and change.
