Accompanying young people in the delicate transition to adulthood is one of the most important and at the same time most challenging objectives for those working in the social sector. It is from this awareness that the collaboration between our ARTandCHARITY Association O.D.V. and the Magari Domani Onlus Cooperative of Gazzada Schianno was born, formalized through an agreement dedicated to training for autonomy.
The agreement is the result of the great understanding and shared vision between the Director of the Magari Domani Cooperative, Andrea Avila, and the President of ARTandCHARITY, Giovanni Tommasi, both deeply convinced of the value of personalized and attentive support towards the autonomy of young people with disabilities.
This project aims to bring young people closer to the reality of the world of work in a protected, safe, and attentive environment to their needs, thanks to specific safeguarding conditions provided for in the agreement itself. The goal is twofold: to promote the personal and professional growth of the participants, and at the same time to offer a concrete and creative contribution to the activities of the Cooperative.
We are currently accompanying a young person who recently obtained a degree in graphic design from a high school in Gallarate. The path started allows him to develop and put into practice his skills, collaborating in the creation of graphic materials useful for the communication and promotion of the activities of the Magari Domani Cooperative.
The meetings take place at the ARTandCHARITY headquarters in Brunello, in a welcoming and stimulating environment, where the young person can work independently but always with the support of well-prepared and available volunteers.
In the image on the side you can see one of the first concrete results of this journey: the flyer created for the upcoming "Picnic", a highly anticipated event that brings together socializing, sharing, and inclusion.
All of this is possible thanks to the great commitment of the ARTandCHARITY volunteers, who with passion and dedication make our mission a reality, and to the valuable support of the companies that have joined the "Azienda Amica", sharing our values and actively contributing to the realization of social and cultural projects.
It is a highly educational experience, allowing the young person to work on real projects, gain greater autonomy, strengthen their self-esteem, and feel like an active part of a community.
We deeply believe that culture, art, and social inclusion can intertwine to build concrete paths of autonomy and active citizenship. This is the spirit with which ARTandCHARITY carries out its commitment, also through virtuous collaborations like this one.
