WHO WE ARE

WE ARE DREAMERS WHO CREATE PROJECTS WITH ART AND CULTURE.

We are a group of people who casually came together to put innovative ideas into practice in the social and cultural field, combining them with a passion for Culture and Art .

The aim is to support charity by promoting culture and art.

It all started almost by chance in 2017 , when Manuela Codazzi had the idea of using art as a tool to help those who need it most. Thus the " ArtAndCharity " project was born, a name that immediately evokes its essence.

The first art exhibition was organized at the Albergo Madri Pie in Noli (Sv) thanks to the great availability of the Mother General Silvana Pagliarino and the Director Maurizio Rizzi . The hotel, an enchanting place overlooking the Ligurian sea, involved a dozen artists with great enthusiasm. The success of this initiative led to the event being replicated in Noli in 2018. The funds raised were allocated to the Missions present in Peru and Madagascar.

These first extraordinary experiences inspired us to found an association that used art for charitable purposes. This is how the " InTogo " Association was born, initially focused on humanitarian projects in Togo thanks to the contribution of our former president Cristian Katou, a young Togolese resident in the province of Varese, but very active in his country of origin.

However, we felt the need to extend our support to other areas outside of Togo. Consequently, the name "InTogo" seemed reductive and not very representative of our goals. For this reason, in July 2022, we modified the Statute, renamed the Association to ARTandCHARITY ODV and elected Giovanni Tommasi as President.

We firmly believe that Culture is essential nourishment for the growth and progress of all of us, but we also know that believing in it is not enough to carry out the numerous projects we are developing. Therefore, we ask for everyone's help because every single additional member or even a small donation can be the drop that fuels the source of our work.

We are open and happy to collaborate with other associations, bodies or groups who wish to share and support our projects, always in compliance with the statutory rules.
